LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY

| A landscape is an interesting
subject to photograph, because it is a living, growing and
constantly changing subject. From year to year, season to
season, day to day and even minute my minute the landscape is
always new. Subtle changes of light effect mood and even
the perception of the forms. Photographing a landscape
takes more time and patience than any other photographic subject
matter that I know of. It is also the subject that I have
the most experience with. It is often necessary to return
to a landscape several days in a row through different seasons
to really capture all of the variations it has to offer.
When I capture an image that portrays the landscape at it's
highest potential for beauty, it is a moment that has been worth
waiting for.
